María is a first generation American, born and raised between Allentown and Carbon County. Maria graduated from Marian Catholic High School, St. Joseph’s University, and Widener University Commonwealth Law School with a specialized degree in Law & Government. Maria has worked for the Pennsylvania Attorney General in the Office of Consumer Protection and as an associate in a local workers’ compensation firm. As her career and community service progressed, María’s dedication to our Commonwealth’s Latino community led to a gubernatorial appointment as the Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs (GACLA). María and her commission members tirelessly advocated for educational equity and small business entrepreneurship.
María’s current practice areas include workers’ compensation and social security where she brings her compassion, advocacy, and experience as a zealous advocate for her clients. In the community María is a member of the Lehigh County Bar Association and serves on Marian Catholic High School’s Board of Directors, is a board member of Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, and is an active parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua in Easton.
