Timothy Yuncker has been practicing workers’ compensation since 1997 and joined HGSK in 2022. Prior to joining HGSK, Tim spent the vast majority of his legal career representing employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters. He has extensive experience with understanding how employers and insurance companies view claims; what strategies and tactics they use; and how they evaluate claims. He has experience educating insurance company adjusters and employer representatives on how to utilize the Workers’ Compensation Act to their benefit. He decided to utilize those skills to represent injured workers to make sure their rights are protected.
Tim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Widener University School of Law in 1996 and then clerked for The Honorable Michael A. Georgelis with the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas for one year before starting as a workers’ compensation attorney in 1997. Tim has presented seminars to various employer organizations covering topics ranging from how to investigate a claim to how to mitigate exposure. Prior to joining HGSK he was staff counsel with a major workers’ compensation insurance company and handled all aspects of litigation for them. He was also tasked with assisting with the development of how to handle Covid-19 workers’ compensation claims and litigation. Tim is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
