HGSK Attorney Bernardo Carbajal Appointed To Reading School Board

HGSK attorney Bernardo Carbajal was appointed yesterday to fill one of two vacancies on the Reading School Board by the current members of the board. The vacancies resulted because two members resigned. The school board asked for applications to fill the vacant seats for the duration of the terms. Twenty-one individuals applied for the vacant seats, and eight were interviewed. Bernardo was notified that he was one of the two applicants selected to fill the vacancies yesterday, and he was sworn in the same day. The appointed positions will last until 2016, when these seats are up for election. The other person appointed was John Kramer, Director Emeritus of The Center for Excellence in Local Government at Albright College. Congratulations, Bernardo!
