HGSK Attorneys Attend 2017 GRIP Summit

Attorney Beth Bowers of Haggerty, Goldberg, Schleifer & Kupersmith, P.C. will be attending the 2017 Greater Reading Immigration Project (GRIP) Immigration Summit, which will take place on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the McGlinn Conference Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. GRIP is a league of community volunteers who work together to share ideas, create awareness, and seek solutions for local immigrants.
GRIP’s Annual Immigration Summit is an opportunity to learn more about the issues facing many families in the local community. This year’s program will include panel discussions on immigration legislation and how current immigration policies are affecting local families, schools, and businesses. There will also be break-out sessions focused on the following topics:
- Continued development of a Youth Support Group
- Education issues for undocumented students
- Health and Social Services
- Attorney’s workshop on immigration law
