Mark Kogan Recently Resolved a Complicated Case
Posted By Haggerty, Goldberg, Schleifer & Kupersmith, P.C.
HGSK attorney Mark Kogan recently resolved a complicated case involving the death of a Philadelphia County prison guard for $175,000.00. The client had been assaulted by a prisoner and had been permanently disabled from the altercation. While recovering from the injury, he suffered an accidental overdose from a combination of medication. The resolution was reached on behalf of the surviving family members. The hard work of the entire HGSK team made this excellent result possible.
In another notable victory, Mr. Kogan resolved a case in Philadelphia for $139,000.00 (wage loss and medical benefits) for a construction worker who fell through a hole cut into a roof by another subcontractor. This accident took place in New Jersey but the matter was successfully tried and resolved in Pennsylvania due to the address of the employee and the employer. HGSK was pleased to obtain this favorable result on behalf of our client.
