Tremendous Supreme Court Victory

In Gallagher v. GEICO, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania held that the household exclusion in a personal auto policy is void and unenforceable as violative against the terms and provisions of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law. This exclusion has long been used by insurers to disclaim coverage to policyholders with multiple automobile policies in the household. With this decision, injured claimants will now be able to recover the full extent of insurance coverage in the household. Jim Haggerty of our office participated in the handling of the case and co-authored the Amicus Brief on behalf of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. His efforts were instrumental in securing this favorable decision for motor vehicle accident victims in Pennsylvania. HGSK remains at the forefront of securing favorable results and fair compensation for motor vehicle accident victims. HGSK is on your side.
